Rumor on the Baggies board that West Brom are interested in Forestieri, be interesting to see if that one pans out. If we do see him go we had better splash some money to strengthen the team because he will leave a big hole.

DC has said that we won't be selling any players that we want for our first team squad. If we sell Fessi now then fans will lose faith in him, probably irreparably.

Said on his twitter that he hasn't signed for us but see what happens over the next few days.

Jordan Rhodes hasn't been the same player since he joined Boro & clearly there is something wrong. Before the season, they offered Rhodes at £14m & no-one has been interested. Now he is available at £11m & still no-one is interested.

Fessi's performances don't suggest that he doesn't want to be here. He has completed more tackles & covered more distance in the last two matches than any other Wednesday player.

There's rumours regarding Rhodes as 'Greedy & Lazy'. Subjective stuff and speculation really no idea the true source. But the lad isn't worth his price tag.

Something knocked the wind out of our sails, but it seemed to be coming back looking at the Brentford highlights.. Still not good enough though. Time will tell if Fessi wants to be here. We'll sell at the end of the season if not.

Forestieri will be fine, like Fletcher/Hooper/Joao, he just needs a goal to get him started. Looking at the way the team celebrated Hutch's goal there didn't seem to be much wrong but then most teams celebrate last minute goals like that. Having said that, if a prem team offers 15m+ for him, that will test DCs resolve if there are any lingering issues after the little spat.

As for Rhodes, his record is amazing, 160+ goals in 300 appearances over the past 7 years, but he is not getting the transfer attention a record like that deserves and that has to make you wonder what the prem teams know that maybe we do not?? The lower half prem teams must be screaming for a striker with that record yet transfer window after transfer window he hardly gets mentioned aside from a move to us or other Championship teams.

Some of the other teams business & speculation:

Oliveira has joined Norwich for reported £4.2m

Villa in talks with Kodija from Bristol City, £15m being mentioned

Newcastle hoping to sign Christian Atsu (winger) from Chelsea. Also being linked with Callum McManaman (WBA) and Markovic (Liverpool)
