So now the rumour is DC is being Shrewd, and signings like Fessi, Hooper Joao weren't paid in full.
Who knows?
What we do know is that this current squad isn't getting promoted....

A year ago we were an average SBC side. We have since added FF, Bannan, Hooper & Fletcher so we are a long way ahead of where we were last July. We are one of the best six squads in the division; the question is can we lift ourselves to be a top two side?
Matias is starting to look like the player we hoped he would be and finally we get to see Melo. We still need a LB and another CB but we are a lot nearer to where we need to be than we were a year ago.

Thought Matias linked up well with Palmer on Wednesday, though can be a bit greedy at times.

Thought Matias' movement off the ball was excellent and he constantly stretched the Benfica defence. Even when he didn't get the ball, his movement created space for other players. He never really got going last season so hopefully this season, he will show us what he can do.
Interesting that CC highlighted Palmer's performance as being one of great worth. Maybe he can do a job at LB.
