Hodgson out, Allardyce in? I think someone's just tried to cure a cold with a shot of malaria.

I know I said we should stop playing European tippy tappy football but surely we can do better than fat sam, sorry wrong film, big sam. Somebody better warn Heathrow that they'll need to divert flights away from north London when England play at Wembley, will Peter beanpole crouch come out of international retirement to reach the balls with snow on.

I think this is a good choice. His hoofball reputation is imo a false one, its certainly not how Sunderland played with Defoe up front and it wasn't how Bolton played in their heyday either. He makes teams difficult to beat, he get the defence organized and he seems to be able to get the best out of the strikers he works with. He will take no shit and won't be afraid of making tough decisions, so on the whole I think this is what England need.

A few more positives:
A good kick up the behind so with a bit of luck no more laziness from the players.
Interesting press interviews ( will he **** up)
Someone we will enjoy ripping into for decisions we disagree with
Maybe not the best for the England team, but at least we can have some fun.................. or be happy he got the job. Win Win
