Apparently they were planning to pull out before the Ched thing happened .

I thought that was another sponsor.

I know there are doubts about CFCs board's integrity or capability but surely they would have gone to the sponsors and sounded them out about the impending signing of Ched so i cant believe it has come as a surprise to them.Im sure there are contingencies in place .
