Not the greatest performance but did enough to deserve the win. Kept them to only a couple of chances, conceded a shocking goal and controlled almost the whole game. Took brave substitutions to win in but it was the pace of Sturridge that won the game in that second half. Only ever really one winner in it today, did Wales make a mistake playing for the draw, especially as our defence was supposed to be our weakest part?? So far the defence has been solid for England, Walker was MOM for me but I am sure Sturridge will get all the plaudits!!!

Great result!!

About right, 2-1, on reflection of play.Left it very late, but we all know how it goes.We have won games in the 96th minute and lost them as well.
Vardy did what he does every week,we need someone like him.
Nothing changes,again.

so from what ive just seen Hart was wank as usual gave them the lead for free ! Then that wanker of a manager had no choice but to pick the correct striker in the second half and the brilliant Vardy scrambled one in ! followed by a lucky one of goal from the zombie in the 96th minute or something ? lucky as xxxx !! nothing has changed we havnt got a clue !!

Just what England needed if we are to go deep in this tournament. First half we were average but did put Wales largely on the back foot despite the Hart error which gave Wales the lead. The introduction of Vardy & Sturridge was just what we needed to up the momentum & take us into the next match in the right spirit.

Some might question the initial team selection but Hodgson's substitutions were bold & correct & he deserves the credit he is getting today.

Rooney - 7
Alli - 6
Lallana - 6

Vardy - 6
Sturridge - 7
Rashford - 6

So much is about momentum so we have to use this result to move forward. Think Sturridge & Vardy need to start and we have to keep being positive.

Didnt seem Bold to me MS bringing on a player that should have started the game and taking off an absalute shit of a player in sterling ? i think most 5 year olds would have done this ? also Kane shouldnt have been in the starting lineup but he seems to be the golden boy after 10 games ? its ridiculas we got rid after 8 years off all the divas and woy got lucky with the talent at hand but was able to pick a very good young decent team and at first nobody got a shirt fro free ! and now look at whats happening !! hes turning them into divas again ffs ! sterling shouldnt have even been on the plane ? all Woys doing and it will be his undoing aswell !! although he wont get sacked and neither will he walk away ! hes the kind of bloke that should work for the jehovas knocking on doors and never going away !! but he and we will never win fcukall while hes in charge tan tan ...
