Aside from Italy, and that game wasn't spectacular. All the games I've watched so far haven't been all that enjoyable, and I've caught most.
Seems like most Tournaments these days are an anti-climax. Every 2 years nothing changes for us, at least some of the stronger teams in Europe have also faded. Iceland, Albania are just a few teams that are not miles behind the rest anymore.. Only in wages, perhaps that's the problem? Superstar celebrities, no heart for the game.

It seems the group stages are always very cagey, the favoured teams don't want to screw up at that stage and in a tournament where 3 draws (or one win) will likely see you get out of the group the games seem more defensive than they could be. Of course you would hope that once it gets to the knockout phase, teams will have to go for it, particularly if they fall behind, that should see some better games on offer.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for! Fingers crossed from the KO rounds we start to see the beautiful game in action.
8am KO for the game tomorrow. So I'm able to procrastinate on the chores, until the afternoon at least. I honestly don't know what to expect really, like I said with Eng V Russia. It is pretty evenly matched despite what some may think. This is a game we could both easily lose and easily win.
