Dempster thinks he was the "outstanding candidate" so happy with that.

Some rumours already kicking about, one being that Stan petrov may be involved in his coaching staff.

Interesting times ahead for sure.

Yeah I agree jim they club is riding on the crest of a wave with the scottish cup win season tickets are on the up surely this will mean even more people jumping on the hibs wagon.

Delighted with the appointment a manager with a win win attitude which can only build on the confidence which the team have.

Leanne Dempster has delivered again lets hope the fans repay her and back the club and the new manager to make this club a massive success in the coming years

Couldnae stand the prick when he was at the soapys and my opinion hasnae changed. He'll need tae dae something spectacular tae sway me, i.e. Marquee signings. And forget his ties tae Celtic.

All the same there's certainly nae love lost on his part when it comes to any respect for the Huns Paignton! Cool In fact, wasn't he the subject of another Hun terror campaign at one point - bullets posted to him etc! And I'm sure he almost lost his life a few years ago after a vicious attack in Glesca by another pair of criminal Huns who were both given lengthy jail sentences - the authorities should've thrown away the key to their cells!! It seems to be the norm for many of these Govan erseholes to behave in this way eh!! Rolleyes

Too quick with my post on the Stubbs to Rotherham thread, but I'm all in favour of his appointment. As long as he does the business for Hibs on and off the field, I'm prepared to put up with any attitude problems he might have.

We'll be getting plenty of newspaper headlines now! Rolleyes

I note that his contract is described on bbc sport as a 1 year rolling contract. So I'm assuming it's a case of deliver success or it's curtains if he can't achieve our main priority - promo!

New BBC article states 2 years contract, as per Hibs website.
