He's taking a huge pay cut to come to hibs.
Wouldnt surprise me if one or two of his pals at celtic head our way. commons and stokes in particular are very good pals with him.

Yep! A good point hibeejim! I'm hoping that Celtic connection, similar to Stubbsy, will work in our favour again.

I'm glad the board have gone for someone with a bit more experience this time. As much as i loved stubbsy he wasn't strong enough at points last season when we really needed it.
Lennon and parker know the game here, the markets we can get players from and we have to trust them to do the job.
Like others i have my doubts about him in some areas but i'm going to put that aside for now and give the guy a chance.

Neil Lennon's a bit of a lad, but as long as he gets it right both on and off the field for Hibs, he'll get my full backing. He's certainly got the experience and success in Scottish football and Leeanne Dempster has given Hibs fans plenty of reasons to trust her decision-making.
Thanks should go to Alan Stubbs for not only Hibs historic Scottish Cup win but also giving us an attractive style of football to watch. It's now up to Lennon to continue the toughening up process required to get up into the Premiership. It's going to be an exciting season ahead.

True jim Stubbs had ambitions to manage at a higher level but he should have stayed at HFC. But hard lessons are taught and he got his comeuppance for chasing the dream to soon. Feel for the man he will always be remembered for winning the Scottish Cup for us but Neil Lennon has my full support now.

I think his family still remaining in Lancashire, during all his time at Hibs, was another motivating factor for Stubbsy to get closer to home!
