Also the dramatised story re Dean Shiels being assaulted - clarified as an absolute exaggeration by his dad, Kenny, who called the events as they really were on bbc Sportsound - IMO a top man!!
Ian Murray's account re the poor segregation of Hibs fans in the South Stand was an 'eyeopener'. RANGERS FANS POSITIONED ABOVE THEM FFS!!!!!! AND GUESS WHAT WAS HAPPENING?? Yep, you've got it - just like the usual misdemeanours if you attended our games at Ibrox - missile throwing and a real poisonous atmosphere well before the match ended - HOW SWEET THAT WIN MUST'VE BEEN FOR THESE FANS ESP AFTER GERS PREMATURE RENDITION OF 'CHEER UP ALLAN STUBBS..... - AYE, HE WAS ECSTATIC AND WELL CHEERED UP. Also here is some more laughable info re Rangers and their fans - they've set up an online fund to 'protect their fans' with legal costs! There would've been no fighting if Rangers fans had remained off the pitch!!! So who was the offended party and why were their fans on the pitch - they were not there to celebrate and this goes 'part n parcel' with the real story of the poisonous culture that pervades their fan base and the Govan footie club itself!  What a f###### joke!
PS: Joey Barton on the brink of joining Rangers - how fitting a match up that is and Rangers v Celtic matches have not even began yet!! Huhhhh!

This should have been a glorious celebration for all of Hibs fans, players and staff but unfortunately it has been completely tarnished by the whole pitch invasion, fighting, "abuse" of players and/or officials and the damage caused to the grass and goalposts!!!  I listened to Stubbs interview in the tunnel right after the game and you could hear the disappointment in his voice rather than the excitement and joy of the what was achieved on the pitch by the team.  I know none of you are condoning anything that happened but there has to be punishment of Hibs and a lot of outside shame because of these events.

Sco lets get one thing right here. I'm not saying it was right for the fans to run on to the pitch but the fans who ran on to the pitch did this to celebrate the clubs BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT in 114 years. It's very clear on tv footage Rangers players where either off the pitch or making their way off the pitch. 

Any trouble started when the Rangers fans came on to the pitch why they done this nobody will understand this but it's clear they could not handle the celebrations of the HFC fans. I've looked at lots of papers and tv footage and there's lots more evidence that Rangers fans assaulted more HFC fans than the other way around. Even very clear picture of one Rangers fans trying to pull a small hibs fan away. 

Now one point I'd like to make is when HFC made the score 2-2 or even when they went 3-2 up why dd the stewards and police not make a human chain at both ends of the ground they had plenty time to put this measure in place if they had done this then nobody would be talking about any trouble. 

There's more stories coming out all the time I heard from a friend of mine who attended the Official Team Party at Easter Rd on sat night he told me that a few players had txts from rangers players to congratulate them on winning the cup and also said that Kenny miller was meant to have went into the hibs dressing room and shook hands with the hibs team. Believe what you wish but IMO HFC are getting a lot of bad & unnecessary press.

Kenny Miller did indeed go to the Hibs dressing room to congratulate the boys and it speaks volumes for Kenny the competitor and Kenny the man!! I've uttered a few jibes in the past re Kenny and his 'loyalties' but must admit if I was still playing, and in such a position, I'd be competing for medals and trophies! It's the nature of the game. However, one searching question to ask - 'Is he really playing with an appropriate reputable footie club'? There's an easy answer to that question and why he is doing it!

Yep Fredster and I never regarded him as that good a player and he has also 'slowed up' anyway! I can't see many Celtic players 'quaking in their boots' in Rodgers' new set up but it will be an interesting confrontation between Barton and Scotty Broon!
