Personally think only Lees came out of today with any credit, the rest looked disinterested, the officials were poo, and SG has no idea !!

That was tough to watch, their offside goal changed the game, but I'm not sure it would've mattered at the end of the day. Watford will likely go up this year or at least be in contention to.
The thinness of our squad is really starting to show, our quality up front is left wanting. We're better than last season though and until a tycoon buys us, we will continue to struggle on scraps. Loan signings by next Saturday an absolute must!! 1/4 of the way in to the season leaves us sitting 11th 3pts outside the playoffs, with a fairly small squad and no household names that really isn't too bad, it's just a shame when we know what could've been... At least we wont be kakking it about going down this year.

Just got back from the match, initial thoughts, Watford deserved to win, though harsh scoreline, fist half poor, 1st goal offside, 2nd Westwood error, 2nd half much better effort, 3rd goal quality finish, Drenthe looked a quality player.
Officials poor again.

Hmm, Watford have become our bogey team haven't they? As I suggested, give 'em a goal start and things would be tough... and so it was. A pity that Hutch had to go off, hope to goodness it's not his back. ('goodness' is not the word I would have normally used but in the present circumstances...)
Please SG, get this Championship striker in this week, prefably by Monday evening or even Tuesday lunchtime. We cannot go on with our present strke force; they just aren't cutting it at this level at the moment. Why? God knows. They should be good enough but somehow the ball just doesn't go where it's meant to. Putting it mildly without a swear word in sight. Today was disappointing to say the least. I expect Tuesday night to be better.
