Experimenting with a new scoring system for those who miss posting their predictions, just so as you don't fall too far behind. I will start it from next season if that's ok, but just trying it out for this week with the four players at the bottom of the table.
The idea is that the player highest in the table defaults to scores of 0-0, than the second to 1-0 and the third to 0-1. Then we go 1-1, 2-1, 1-2, etc.
So today i will be putting all neon fox's scores as 0-0, Jeebers as 1-0, Wakey as 0-1 and Amelia as 1-1.

Results for Matchday 40: Well when it looked like it was getting tight at the top, Classy Cas came up trumps with a brilliant 38 to open up a 19 point gap. Just a few play offs and cup finals to come, can 1973 catch him up?
Don't forget, the final whistle will be the Championship play off final, so it's not over yet.
The most exciting part of this whole league though is the battle for 4th, with just 2 points separating me, ritchie and Shep. With no prize to play for, it's so close you couldn't cut the tension with anything.
As for my scores defaulting experiment, I think I'll definitely bring it in next season. Unless there's any serious objections.

I think that new scoring system sounds good Snoots.....I had a good few weeks where I never put any scores in.
You get too far behind and then you get discouraged from starting it up again.

But luckily I've had such a brilliant second half to the season that it's put me right in their with a chance of that coveted 4th place....and Champions League footy for next season
