Noticed that burton may be coming up to champ next season. One lucas akins plays for them, anyone remember him? Funny how careers pan out isnt it.

Also halifax got relegated today so losing 4-0 doesnt seem too bad. Also spare a thought for afc emley who lost on a penalty shootout sudden death in the playoff final.

That's right, jjamez. There are worse things in life than losing a dead rubber.
Can't think which was worst. The last day relegation or the play off final defeat.

Considering where both teams have been over the course of the season, I'd go with the play off final defeat, they we're up for autos but fell off. Halifax did well to take it as far as they did. But they've paid the price for huge amounts of chopping and changing both on and off the field without actually remotely increasing quality in fact they lost the quality. Tbf they sold players and didn't put tuppence back in...sound familiar?

Canae believe some are panning wagner for playing dempsey at right back. In my opinion i feel the reason behind doing so was entirely the right one and shouldn't be ditched over one poor performance. If players we're ditched over one bad performance then even messi and ronaldo would be lower league players!

It's a very European thing, having players who play one position but are capable of playing one or two other roles, it improves squad versatility. In fact a lot of continental teams have maybe only a couple of players who have one position barring goalkeepers. Look at munich, lahm was at one point one of if not the best left back in the world, he's been playing a holding midfield role.

Anyone who thinks wagner was wrong for seeing what his players are flexible enough to do must want a squad of 40 of which deano spends at least 3mil on each!

He seemed to do OK last weekend. Bit of scrumpy getting in the the way of a bit of nouse if you ask me. We can all have a bad day at the office but some Town fans love to pick out a player to have a go at rather than look at the big picture. Wagner knows what went wrong, it's up to the board to back him so it doesn't go wrong too often next season in a division that only gets harder and harder to play in let alone stay in. Having a moan about a meaningless result is pathetic. OK a fair few invested hard earned coin to go at his weekend and rightly expected a decent performance but it wasn't down to one player or one decision by the coach. There's some already moaning about next season when we haven't finished this one yet.

Some town fans are never happy unless they are moaning and thus moan to be happy. Its kind of like happy eating apart from the moaning can become repetitive, annoying and quite tedious.

Maybe its a yorkshire thing? But it is just extremely annoying and sucks the enjoyment out of football. Yeah we want to win, we all do, but when we lose now theres people calling for wholesale changes and it changes something that should be exciting and to be enjoyed into something thats boring allround as you know someone is going to complain or at least find something.

Moaning:
WTF have Arsenal and Everton fans got to moan about?
If we were in a similar position, ie top half of the Premier league, but seemingly stuck in a rut, would Town fans be happy to be there, looking back on those long gone 4th division days?

Nah!  Rolleyes
