19th in the form table, absolutely unreal that we're safe this year to be honest.

They're definitely worth the extra year a piece, just wish we'd have given Phillips an extra year on his contract back in the day as well! Still frustrated about that till this day!

Because we're pretty much already safe and he wants to give a young prospect his chance? 

By the looks of his performance I doubt he'll be "signing for Walsall" which is what you said about him coming on as a sub against Man City haha.

I have been saying all season that all our woes are not of the TP making and maybe with a decent rebuild .... I really hope so ...We can move forward.

Our defence is totally of TP's making. Four centre backs and a refusal to buy and play orthodox full backs. That's all down to Pulis.

Just back from the game. First 20 mins looked good. We had four shots on target within a minute during that early spell!!
Their first goal came from an unlucky ricochet but their finishing was the difference! We couldn't hit the proverbial barn door with a banjo while their finishing was first class. Superb 2nd by Noble.
I thought McClean and Gardener particularly poor today. Lego a breath of fresh air. Play the kids more!!

Positives from today:
We've played far worse tgis year (which says something about the dross that's been served up).
We're safe.
I only have to pay to watch 1 more game with Pulis in charge.

With the exception of Leko, a team full of hard workers who lack pace, creativity and basic skills.

However Leko is an exciting pacey skillful player. Let's see more of him.
