The Telegraph reporter says that Albion were pusillanimous. (Shouldn't that be "Pulissanimous"?)
[for the benefit of the few who don't know, that means...............showing a lack of courage or determination; timid.]
Origin
late Middle English: from ecclesiastical Latin pusillanimis (translating Greek olugopsukhos ), from pusillus ‘very small’ + animus ‘mind’, + -ous.

Only saving grace things have to get better, don't they?
Strange how we all see things differently - I thought we looked pretty neat in possession in that half, and reasonable going forward in midfield! Every team concedes loads of possession to Arsenal who are, as you say, a class act.
We seem to be more intent on harrying them further up the pitch today, which is a good thing IMO
You are right, I thought we were awful, IMO every time we did get the ball we gave it away stupidly. I would not mind a good interception, but it was just sloppy passes (stats just come up 75% complete) . Arsenal were class, hard to understand why the fans want AW out, third in the table and play like that, us football fans generally must be hard to please.
Back to us though we made it far to easy for Arsenal to look good, you would think our players had never seen a 1-2 before, time after time they walked past us at will. For me the only saving grace was we only lost by 2.

I think tonight's performance confirmed how sub standard Mr Pulis' team is by comparison with the majority of teams in the division. We are a second rate team in a first class club with an enviable history which is now being tainted by our poor play and performances.
I strongly believe that unless there are major changes at the club, we will be following our near neighbours down to the Championship.

Wel that was good. Can't pass, can't control a ball, no pace, no movement, no creativity but apart from that all's well in Pulisworld.

How anymore still wants that turnip head in charge next season is totally beyond me,
a chance tonight against Arsenal to take the shackles off abit and he goes with 4 centre backs
and 3 holding midfielders.

But then again this is WBA we are talking about so who knows ?
Did anyone expect any different in performance and result
What do you expect with a front three of waste of space can't control ,pass give away a goal Saido ? Lower league footballer Mclean and runaround with out no end product Sess ?
Even if we made chances we would not score.
Sad night in front of the TV cameras the whole team needs changing, I wouldn't play Saido again and give the youngsters a run out at least they would try.
Even Foster was Useless tonight

Well that was better than expected. I expected a drubbing but all I got was a passing master class from Arsenal (wish I could complain about my club the way the gunners fans do).
Despite 2-0 at half time I could not resist a bet on Dawson to score the next goal at 50-1.
Fail.

Dull, boring, predictable............. the sky commentator summed it up really, "and in front of Ben Foster, a back four, made up of four center backs"...... FFS, why not be a bit more gang ho against spurs, there is nothing to lose, try and effect the outcome of the league, rather than try and contain, as Spurs will do more damage to us than the lack of goal scoring threat from the arsenal strikers last night, and with Spurs it will be 3 or 4 passes through the middle of the parked bus then goal, goal, goal..............
Where is everyone ? what www.land have we gone to invade now ? where is the jibber and the jabber ? ? ?
Curse you thursday.......all your fault.

I did say this was a waste of time. I didn't bother ruining my night until 10pm. Surprised at the result. Nope! So the thrashing will come Monday Spurs are on fire atm. We are a damp squib. Wish I could afford to bet Cos I still think we're due one more point. It will come against west ham or liverpool. Tottenham will annihilate us and bournemouth will beat us also. I'm officially getting off the ride for the rest of this season. If I could be arsed I'd be more interested to see if we can avoid relegation at this point at least that would be something to get worked up about. I still dont believe Pulis is the entire problem I think the whole team have to answer for this slow painful death rattle as for Saddo who'd pay 50p and a pickled egg for him now
