As Blackburn have the red rose on their badge, I would just like to say:

We don't have the best record against Blackburn ALTHOUGH the last three meetings have been draws; 1-1, 2-2 and 0-0 working backwards.

Blackburn are currently 16th on 47 points, we're 19th on 46. All very tight in that area of the table.

Blackburn have been stuck in the Championship since 2012 despite the club jokers owners trying to buy them back into the premiership, including their buy now, pay later deal to buy Jordan Rhodes from us. A harsh lesson in having owners that have no feeling for the club or English football? They have fluttered around the bottom half of the Championship but survival seems assured. Can the same be said for us?

Blackburn had four previous grounds before settling into Ewok Park in 1890 although they had played four earlier matches there when it was known as Ewood Bridge.

Jim "Just look at what you could have won" Bowen supports Rovers, as does Matt "why did he step aside for us to end up with Peter Capaldi as Dr Who?" Smith and Lee "professional northern comedian" Mack.

Which lend the questions:

1) What's your favourite quiz show? Past and present?
2) Who is your favourite Who? And what are your favourite Dr Who baddies?
3) Who is your favourite comedian?

Lee Mack also presents Duck Quacks Don't Echo.

4) Do you have an interesting fact? Where did you hear it? Has it been proven?

Played for both: Well, it's that man again, Jordan Rhodes.

Duane Holmes is never 5' 8"!

Others Neil Danns, Wayne Burnett, George Donis, Simon Ireland, Simon Eastwood, Damien Johnson, Lee Makel, Scott Sellars, Kevin Stonehouse and Duncan Shearer.

I think this wiil turn out to be another bore draw but given I'm certain we are safe I couldn't give two hoots about the result now. Let's just go there and give them a game.

Just seen Blackburn have announced losses of £17.2million for last year and now have a total debt of £104 million of which £87million is loans from the Venkys. Rovers fans are very worried what might happen if the Chicken pluckers walk away

Nice one AmChaff - I can vouch for The Postal Order Thumb up and I believe a place called last Orders on the corner of the same street, as it's wobbling distance from the train station - bit of a hike out to the ground though. Plenty of buses head down the A666 towards Darwen from the station and the same street as The Postal Order if you don't want to waste the shoe leather.

Sticking to the beer theme of my earlier post, in 1807, the Daniel Thwaites & Co brewery was established in Blackburn. The company is now owned by Marstons who sadly also brew their ales for them. Another fine brewery bites the dust. Wainwright Thumb up is my current favourite of their's though I don't mind a Lancaster Bomber or two either.

Quiz shows? Smashing, super, great Jim. Can you sail a speedboat down the Leeds and Liverpool? Water ski-ing through the locks might be a tad tricky.

Anyway, Town have only lost to one team around us in the bottom 9 so far this season and it wasn't Bolllackburn. In fact we've only lost 3 times against clubs in the bottom half, which shows how crap we are against those in the top half. It would be nice to even up their home record of W7, D7, L6 and give us our first win against them since we met again in this division in the 2012-13 season.

Pattercake's doubtful for this match, but Dempsey may be back. Hogg, apparently is still three weeks away from being ready.

Hogg should focus on being fit for a full preseason. Think we should be able to get by without him until end of the season
