Finished 2-2.

Had to miss today. How did we play? Looks like we had less possession than recent matches.

Don't think we had any excuses for today, poor performance and very poor result!!!  Seemed a bit of a calamitous day, named 6 loanees in the squad and had to change that, then our goalie got injured in the warm-ups and had to be replaced, conceded two penalties and an own goal!!!!  Hopefully just one of those days!!!  Other results went ok and we ended the day in the same basic position we started in, 5 points above 7th place!!

Anyway, if I'd have had a bet on a draw and on the winner at Aintree I'd be a few quid up but as it is the £20 will be better invested in a selection of brewery products.  Thumb up

Thought we at least deserved the draw today and Hull couldn't have complained if they went home with nowt. A very open game with both defences looking shakey. Van the Man had a good game raiding down the left wing and causing problems for Hull all afternoon. Made some good tackles too. Great move down the left for the first goal with Husband sneaking forward to put a cross in for Pato to put away with style. I was buying a Bovril when Brucie junior missed his sitter with the last kick of the second half.

Town were their own worst enemies for the Hull equaliser by faffing around and not clearing the ball, then dozing while their sub scored from close range with probably his first touch.

Now, if there was a prize for own goal of the month or season, Town's second would be high on the list. Another flowing move down the left saw Bunn put a firm but hardly the world's greatest cross into the six yard box. Step forward Mr. McGoo to power a diving header from about two yards out and two feet above the ground past his own keeper and almost take the net off the sticks.

So, 2-1 up, 6 mins of added time, what do we do? Invite them onto us again. A free header at the back stick due to Town again sitting too deep brought the inevitable equaliser, but you know what? I said any points this week are Brucie bonus's and I'll take it, especially against Brucie.

Very impressed with Van La Parra today. Pacey, skilful, not afraid to get stuck in. Well deserved man of the match award.

Can someone explain why the Murdoch Sports highlights grind to a halt after about 35 seconds?

The 30 second adverts work fine by the way
