If Hodgson holds his nerve & picks the "in form" players then we could do very well in the Euros. He picked the right team last night and made good substitutions. He has reduced the average age of the team to its lowest level since Beckham made his debut.

If he builds the team around Kane, Varney, Alli, Dier, Barkley,Clyne, Rose & Hart then we are in great shape.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

Semi Final penalty heartbreak anyone?

I might revise my previous prediction and fully expect us to beat Wales now. We're that good!

Proven wanker.

Hoddle should never have been given a sniff of work ever again after that ?? its double feffing standards England though isnt it ? to me hes on level par with that kidddie fiddlers of late !!

Ill say it again with less alcohol in the viens Whistle  they realy impressed me last night  Thumb up That is the first England game that i have ever seen England players who wanted the ball and looked comfortable on it and the pace was out off this world when you look back on previous games  Thumb up
They reminded me of how wednesday are playing the game  Whistle  seriously they all looked liked they where playing for clubs in Spain or Italy  Huh sure youre always going to get a Loovens ( Cahill ) and a complete misfit hanging on to the gaffers jock strap in Henderson  Thumb down but failing these 2 clowns they where all very bright  Thumb up unfortunatley we will probably never see this lot together ever again as The dutch game he will mix it all up and then after that Knobheads like Sterling and Rooney who have no right to be playing for there country at the moment will ease back in  Angry Doh Ionly we had a bright new manager like Spurs or Sheffield wednesday England might actually win something  Whistle

Another big worry is the goalie  Doh forrester is bobar and butland well floped his lines leaving Hart who is a complete liabilty laughing his balls off and walking striaght back into the net  Doh

Fresh blood, it's our only way forward. As MS said. We have a core to build around, now that's Shrek has been played and played until he won his honours he can bugger off now.

Butland, are you seriously telling me there's no better English keeper to take his spot?

Does anyone else remember a time when National team players were picked based on their skill/form and not simply because they're sat on a bench at a top 5 club?
There was a time National team players even played in a division below the top flight.

I know it was a good result and we played pretty well but I still think we'll struggle come the Finals. Seen it too many times before to get my hopes up at this stage. 3 - 0 up with injury time to play in the Final itself and I might start to believe!
