Have to say it appears to be one of the easiest qualification groups on paper!! Of course it doesn't always pan out that way, look at Switzerland, played 2, lost 2, yet arguably they were the favorites going in to it!!! For me if we have to rely on goal difference to qualify, then it will not have gone as planned as regards results anyway!!

Thurny said he would take a short break until which forum was chosen to carry on with. Not sure about Maddix though.

Imre, I have asked all three of you not to leave!! I closed the other thread as i think we all know where everyone stands and what the small changes are!! I want everyone to stay on here but i cannot force you to do so. In the meantime I am going to try to carry on and keep this forum interested for anyone who wishes to remain here.
I am happy to open the old thread if you want, but I don't think there is much else that needs or could be said about the subject that hasn't already been covered!!

I haven't dictated any terms for coming back. Likewise I have not encouraged anyone to leave. I have stated that I will take some time to consider my options. I will do the Watford thread to allow things to settle and go as they will and I will also stay in SWO's League. Apart from that I am still not sure what my level of activity will be on this site in the future.

Just as a final update, the Czech Republic beat Turkey 2-1, so Madsteve did not get all the predictions correct in the end!!

We're all a bit pissed off, and we all have our own right/reason to be. If we start infighting though we're going to look like dick heads pretty quickly though.
I also urge you all to stay too, if only for a little bit to see how it pans out. I know we can do what we like back on new606 but it really is a dead man walking with no like button etc. If something were to magically happen and bonner fixes it then we can see what everyone feels like about a possible return? All I know is that it's taken us all a few years to acquire the group we have, becoming accustomed to each others personalities and it would be a shame to lose any contributor, especially those whom put forth time and effort in to creating the threads. But that's just my humble.. Thurny, it's difficult at times living amidst these Yankees and not falling foul to their grammar. We have to conform at times or we end up having to repeat ourselves or explaining why there's a 'u' in the words. colour, flavour, favour, neighbour. And the colour 'Grey' isn't 'Gray' It's even worse when you catch yourself using their terminologies
