Scottish Cup quarter-final: Hibs v ICT
#41
They certainly didn't like the heavy physical challenges from Thomo, Hendo and Gray supercooper! This match was unusual in the fact I could clearly hear the mumping from various ICT players incl Warren. A case of 'are you a premiership player? WHACK'! They didn't like that treatment one jot and Yogi obviously noticed it and mentioned how physical it was in his interview.

It's also noticeable how many Hibs fans have lost patience with Stokes during that end period! Played reasonably well but still no goals and no prolific pen box striker. Also baffled why Stubbs never brought on Farid - we watched the big man alongside Stokes during pre-match warm up and he was impressive in the striking dept! I'll predict Farid will play a pivotal role in the end of season challenges and pray that lady luck favours us with injuries, match fitness etc and we have a full squad of players available. I believe we are a smidgeon away from having a very impressive Hibs side and Stubbs efforts will eventually be rewarded.

Really am genuinely curious to see how stubbs approaches the final. Especially in the forward positions.

Stokes definitely tired last quarter but he was not alone with that one. Mcginn and henderson both looked dead on their feet!

I didn't see him interviewed, but hilarious given his reputation.

Call it a manager's dilemma eh hibeejim and remember every player wants a game, esp if it's a final lol! Who'd be a footie manager? Sometimes not easy and you can't please everyone! He's definitely got a winning lineup within his first team squad and lets hope he chooses wisely.

I'd certainly like to see Stokes and Keatings given the role again to start. Stokes is a big game player at present and certainly knows when the cameras are there! If it doesn't work then bring Cummings on who will  be hungry to prove his worth if he starts on the bench.   Thumb up
