There's a good chance of Hibs hitting the 30,000 mark paigntonhibby.A positive result on Sunday will prob decide if that extra interest materialises.  I'm delighted re the financial benefit to the club - every bit of extra significant revenue helps the club. I just hope Hibs don't let down such a huge Hibs support.

Much as I hate to disappoint, but does the bulk of the ticket cash from the final not go to the league?

If it was a home game you'd have to split the money with the opposition.

My mistake, I've read the rules: all gate money, less expenses and 10% to Queens Park or SFA - whoever owns Hampden, is split evenly between the two competing clubs.

So more than half of every extra ticket doesn't go to hibs.

"More than half of every ticket sold doesn't go to hibs". What point are ye trying tae make now, after all expenses hibs get 50% o' ticket sales, sounds about right and no more or less than anybody expected so 07 was right, the more tickets sold the better for hibs GGTTH. I've got Mae doubt it'll be the same for the petrothingy cup, or whatever that cups called that rangers are trying tae win at their 4th attempt

Where did he defend me, you brainless tool?

F*cking hell, Fred, I've explained to you why I can't travel to games so many times it's embarrassing to see you still trotting out your pathetic digs about it. Have a go at being a grown up for a change.

The point being that your fairweather support are funding another club to the same extent as their own, whereas if they attended a few league games in even a fraction of the extra 21k being predicted it would be their own club that took the cash.

The point is obvious to anyone open to facts.

Some clubs are available to watch regularly using the media and some are not.

It's a stature thing. Big available, wee pokey clubs rarely available - and even then only when their playing a big club like ours.

You're right, TWG. A lot of your games are on national TV because you're playing a big club like ours. Thumb up

Add our games against Falkirk (twice), Livingston, Alloa, ICT tomorrow, Ross County next weekend and probably more, proves that we, as big clubs, are helping our fellow clubs get more TV exposure than they would normally get.
Cabbage is still good for you
