I'm here for as long as I'm here.
This is a shit situation. I don't want to leave. We've finally got a stable home and we're all together BUT I don't like how things were changed before members were told, I don't like all these bullshit excuses from the mods and I don't like how the Wednesday board is being made to appear like it's the root of the problem. Yes we like to swear (I can understand the C word being banned) and yeas we have the lucky tits (I personally only ever post tasteful pics anyway) but we see/hear much worse in everyday life. The people who are offended by this should grow a pair and leave their house once in a while.

I come here to get away from real life for a while and for my own enjoyment, at the minute I am not enjoying this site and that's why I'm still on New606 doing my own stuff

If you don't want to leave, then don't!!! There was no need for you to do so in the first instance anyway, and there is certainly no need now, but that's up to you!!

Well, I gotta say, I can understand why people are pissed off, and I don't blame 'em, but i'm tending to think SCO is right. At the end of the day, it's two words and a pair of tits that we can no longer use. Big deal. State your case, tell them you're pissed off and let's move on. It's a shame but a bigger shame would be to see the collective fall apart because some have stayed and some have gone back. No-one wins that way.

Life is about compromises!! As an admin and mod group we have hopefully found a suitable one for all to be able to move forward with, I would hate to see us fall apart over this!!

When this site started everyone was together. By that I mean Wednesday, Hudderfield, WBA and everyone else from New606.
We had all stood by each other and we were all friends, Mods included. All the creeping behind peoples backs to change rules has tarnished that relationship for me. It feels as though cliques are starting to form.

All that had to be done was the owners tell the mods what was going to happen and they then passed it on to us. Instead we got a message hidden on the homepage of the whole site and then everyone was expected to fall into line. WHO EVEN LOOKS AT THE HOME PAGE??!!
A message is hidden away in the bowels of the forum, no one reads it so we don't know and we're still punished.

I doubt anything would have kicked off had you (Charlie) come on and had a quiet word with us all. Yes there would be strong opinions but it would not have split our group like this
I think we're all agreed imre swears the most but he has calmed things down loads since I first joined up here. I'm sure he would have done again and if he can change we all can Laugh

Another thing, if you want it all to calm down, tell the other mods to xxxx off sticking their noses in and let you do your job (I know, you get nothing from it so it's not a job Whistle

). They're another reason why this all kicked off, they came onto our pages with their sarcastic and condescending posts and stirred it all up again. It had died down last night, as I've already said on SB

Seriously Thurrnscoe!!! There is no creeping behind anyone's backs!! The mods have always had a staff area both on here and on the old site where we get the chance to discuss a whole raft of things regarding the site!! This has always been the case and any decision regarding the sites have always been discussed in there before put out to the wider audience!!

Yes the message was put on the home page, both as a banner and as a thread in Important Threads and maybe it would have been better to have posted on each board, but what would that have changed?? I go to the home page every time I am on here and I saw it straight away, even though i start on the Owls board I do try to get around the rest. It wasn't hidden away, its front and center on the home page, you need to expand your horizons beyond just our board once in a while!!!
