I'll definitely be buying one....even though I might only go to one or two games a season.
I saw it somewhere (either here or on Twitter) that why not buy one and then donate most of the tickets to a local school.....
If anyone has s school in mind give me a shout.

This is great news for football. Great to see a team rewarding fans than milking them for every penny they've got. Let's hope all football clubs follow suit otherwise it will just be the prawn sandwich brigade going to matches with half emptied stadiums and no atmosphere.
You may also see a rise in your fan base from fans who live in West Yorkshire but support the likes of Man City, Man United, Liverpool etc buying a season ticket due to the price.

I'd have been buying one anyway but think this is the best thing for the club and what we have been saying for years will bring fans back and new fans in. Great news.

That is a superb offer, well done to the club for offering it. Now it's up to the fans to justify the move and for them to buy them!! I don't know how many you sold this season, I would guess around 8k, but I would hope that that figure would not be for off doubled for next season, like was seen at Bradford with their offer.
Of course the danger is the fans do not take up the offer in big enough numbers and that income is affected as a consequence. The budgets of many clubs in the championship are on the rise, not only to chase the Prem but to avoid the drop and while the FFP limits are changing the revenue from ticket sales are the most vital part of a clubs finances. My club of course chose a different route and put a premium on POTD prices while keeping the season ticket prices fairly static. While this has seen our average drop a few hundred over last season I will bet our revenue has shot up as well. It can be a fine balancing act for a lot of the clubs in the Championship, but I really hope your route works!!

I've emailed the club about passing my season ticket on....Sue B replied with a very positive comment.....
Apparently a few others did the same in the centenary season.
She will contact me if others get involved and do the same.....and we can give our cards to local kids/people in need.
I know we lost today, but it really is a new and exciting time for all Town fans.
Damn i'm excited !!!

Yep. I'd have been happy to renew even if they'd frozen the prices as things are so good at the minute, but £100 is a massive bonus and I'll be able to put the rest towards away days.

i seriously considered buying one and donating it , but then i thought seeing as how its only the first 10,000 there might very well be someone whos been a town fan a very long time who up until now has never been able to afford a season ticket and only went to games when they could afford to. so im going to wait to see what the uptake is like before i buy one
