You ask 'WHO NEXT'.

Nigel Pearson.  He's another one who's raving, fecking bonkers so would fit in nicely and, with what is fundamentally HIS team, are currently sitting top of the pile with a similar size/type of club.

While in principle it is Pearson's team at the top of the league, I still don't rate him and feel that Leicester's current run is as down to poor standards from the "top" teams as it is their good performances to be honest.

They dropped very lucky on signing foreign players that have gone on to become much better than even Leicester's scouts would have predicted. Kante being the pick of the bunch for me.

Also I think it'd be wrong to discredit Ranieri as he's handled the media and deflected the pressure off of the team superbly. He's also picked players this season the Pearson didn't, so I think credit is due there also.

Agree that Pulis should be moved on at the end of the season, but god I hope we don't go for Pearson. Besides the fact that he's a lunatic, if the current Leicester team is 'fundamentally his team' then he got them massively underperforming last season.

If we can get a top class manager then I think he should go but I wouldn't swap him for any of the names currently being touted (Moyes, Rodgers, Pearson, Clements, etc.). If we went really ambitious (and no reason why we can't now were in the top 20 richest clubs in the world, solid Prem team) we should invest in a manager capable of attracting young, hungry and talented players. That should include looking at people like Rafa Benitez, Ancelloti, Cocu, Rebrov... All traditionally well out of our range but we should aim high

Rafa Benitez/Ancelotti

Come on, someone's been on the sauce early today.

These managers are Real Madrid/Chelsea quality.

Regular Champions League teams.

We are way down the pecking order!!!

Who here can say Pulis deserves to be sacked?

On that alone, my answer would be no he doesn't.

We pick up points in games we wouldn't expect to, he comes across as a likeable no nonsense character, yes his style of play may not be to everyone's liking but is that really a sackable offence?

The thing I think everyone would be happy with is just more attacking and exciting football.

But based on what he's done at the club, he certainly does not deserve to be sacked.

That was a great post ........
Yet you voted no he should not be our manager next season  Huh

I know Beefy.

I dont think the guy deserves to lose his job, there are a lot of things I like about him.

But do I want him to be in charge on our transfer budget etc... moving forward?

Probably not, as the football isn't all that great.

If he showed signs of a more ambitious attacking style then definitely keep him!!!

Baggieman, I voted yes, I am not raving bonkers, I have said many times I work for the emergency services in London, I do not and can not get to many games but that does not make me any less upset by the style of football we play, TP would not be my first choice but we have him, we need stability and he is keeping us up ..... he is managing with the results of three or four years of poor transfer windows, yes he has had two and a bit himself, ftp rules makes wholesale change difficult, Fergie was close to the tin tack .. one win, a reprieve and the rest was history, I want to be entertained, I want to enjoy watching Albion play ... Maybe a little sacrifice for a year or two to makes us stronger and settled is not to much to ask ...... look at Villa, wolves and many other clubs keep chopping and changing, destroys any rhythm and progress.
There was no better in our circumstances at the time, he has done the job last year and is on course this year .... I am not best placed to judge but there you have it ...... boing boing together.

4eva,
Not knocking you at all mate, but as  TP fan who gets to the games I have to admit, he has split the fans right down the middle and the lack of atmosphere at the shrine is terrible. The football served up of late is terrible and yes TP gets results and will keep us in the greed league but you know what... It's starting to feel like our club is slipping away, deep down we ALL can feel it and know it's not right. This style of football is not OUR CLUB.
We have some decent players at the club but the tactics, the 30% possession, the zero shots on target, the neutral fans saying what a terrible team we are to watch, the playing out of position, the lack of any creativity, flair or pace.
This is not West Brom.

The most worrying thing about Pulis is that I could never see him unearthing a gem like an Odemwingie or Lukaku as his history
of signing decent strikers is pretty abysmal to say the least.
