Beefy,
I agree that we probably edged in in terms of chances after the first 30 minutes but our passing and ball retention was embarrassing. It looked like a bunch of big bullies against school kids who were faster, more skilful but ultimately weaker. Just like when we played Stoke for so many years.

Not really mate i thought the performance was below average,
Throw in all the injuries, losing Gmac early etc after the first 30 it was ok.

Zinman summed it up nicely to be fair.

However with gmac out for Everton god knows who we are going to play at the back,
So i do fear for us against in form Everton.

I would also like to point out Yacob is becoming more slower and more of a liability with every game,
If he was any slower he would stop and gives stupid fouls away always tackling from behind,
As I say Gamboa on the right with Sess in the middle maybe we actually have a midfield that moves forward  Doh

My sixpencenny worth:

We were shite
If it wasn't for the undoubted industry of McClean and - yes - Gardiner we'd have been swamped.

Please Mr Fry, can we have your manager

...oh, and 7-8 of your players?

Everton....cricket score
Albion...nil

Say whatever you like about McClean.
He takes real stick every time he's on the ball; he's not the most gifted player (no right foot); but his work-rate is 2nd to none, and never shirks a tackle; you've got to admire the bloke.

We'll beat Everton, it looks like the most guaranteed loss of any game for any team this season (excluding villa games). Everton have hit great form, we're struggling with our whole first choice back 4 seemingly injured and most our decent fit players having just played a very long game. This and Lukaku against us. Everything is against us, so we'll win.

Anichebe will probably start too since Rondon and Berahino both played the full 120.

If you asked someone who didn't follow football who they thought was the Premier League team, they would reply "the blue team".  That's how bad it looked from my point of view.  Couldn't string two passes together through the midfield.  Fletcher and Gardner were terrible, as was the two up front.  Agree that Mclean ran his socks off, and Gamboa was a threat with his couple of crosses, but not many positives to take out of it, especially with G-Mac getting injured.  Better change something quickly T.P, because its looking like a slippery slope.  Dodgy
