Apparently Everton and Wednesday have agreed to it and now McGeady has to agree as well.

"Fooking McGeady" !!! I hope that's not what we will all be saying in a few months time.
The chap was at Celtic when the Scottish league was shit, then went to Moscow for the money and picked up so many splinters he is still picking them out. Then at Everton he played a bit and is now back on the bench. What he does do which we don't really have is a player who can beat a man and gets to the line, but the fooker can't cross or shoot.....he tries to beat that man he just bet at least 5 more times....."fookin McGeady". He is looking to go to the Euros with Ireland so hopefully when he arrives he will be tearing the opposition a new one and playing for the team. I'm not going to get to excited if he signs I will give him time and the benefit of the doubt but can't see him being our "saviour"....I hope I am left eating my words.

No 'One' player is ever going to be our saviour at S6. Mcgeady should be very good at this level though and offer us a different dimension on the wing.
I suppose the loan suits us as we can't secure our preferred targets and we won't blow our budget on clubs inflated prices of players. DC did say to expect one in by tomorrow so this could likely be it. Unless there's someone else in the pipeline. Have we taken the maximum number of loans or can we still bring another in?

Boro pay their players a lot of money, so if Rhodes couldn't reach an agreement I can't imagine what he's asking for. He certainly won't get it at S6!

The Rhodes deal has to have collapsed due to wages, which as you say Stateside, makes you wonder what he was asking for?? Unless Boro were offering stupidly low wages then does this show a lack of ambition from Rhodes? You would have thought he would jump at a real chance of the prem, he is going nowhere with Blackburn!!
