Brown Ideye was got rid of to quickly in my opinion as was Di Maria at Man Utd,
really wish clubs would give these foreign players at least 2 seasons before getting rid.

Replay to be played at Ashton Gate on Tuesday 19th January at 7.45pm unless selected for television coverage. Albion allocation is 1,400 tickets (which, to be honest, is pretty shit considering we gave them the whole Smethwick End today).

Their current capacity is only 16,000, and for FA Cup games they are supposed to give 10% of tickets to away fans unless segregation is not possible.  Currently I think they are a stand down due to redevelopment so have restricted capacity, next season they will be up to 27,000 capacity.

Lambert's back legs have gone - he's a Donkey. Should never have touched him.

Ideye might have come good given more time and I am confident Rondon will but we can't afford the time or the luxury of him in the squad if he does not contribute. Other clubs bring in foreign player who are an instant success and so why can't we and why don't our purchases hit the ground running.

Is it tactics? Style of play? TP plays folk out of position and maybe also we don't play to a strikers strength?

We really do need to find that magic formula. But that said, the clubs quickly out of the blocks this season are slowing down (Southampton, Palace, West Ham) and do maybe our less than exciting approach is more durable.........

Just wish we'd start dealing and showing some activity

I would add as a now more than middle aged man that if Lambert was to shave that ridiculous bush off his face maybe he'd have less weight to lumber around and would look more credible as a footballer.

I know it's fashion but it's a unbelievably stupid one. Just like old men with pony tails FFS!!!!!

Unfortunately I traveled up for the match yesterday. 250 mile round trip in a monsoon surrounded by morons driving too fast, too close and with half having no feckin lights on....but that's another thread....

things I took home with me:

Lambert... Doh just Doh
Rondon...is not a poacher. Should have scored at least 2.
Chester...is not an £8m player. Complete rubbish yesterday and clearly needs more game time. Hospital passes to Ben will probably be discussed today in training.
Saido...looks like he's playing with diving weights strapped to him. Took his goal well but was invisible most of the time.
Jimmy...thank xxxx for Jimmy... Thumb up
Sess...great on the ball but final delivery was part of our problem yesterday.

Avoided an embarrassment...just.
