Pullis Apologies
#1
TP has issued a class apology to Klopp over our use of the long ball against Liverpool.  According to Sky Sports we actually hit only 3 more long balls than Liverpool did during the game.  But as rightly pointed out by TP when you have a team worth over £200 million playing a team worth less than £20 million (not so sure about that one) you have to find some spin somewhere.

Herr Klopp has made himself look rather a silly-billy following his comments after the 2-2 draw and as Pulis says, he is deflecting criticism away from himself and on to West Bromwich's playing style which may not be the best but it did have the desired result in achieving a point.

Her Klopp is new to English football and its fans and he needs to examine his behavior quickly and needs when to stay silent in his criticism of opposing teams.

Smacks of Arsene Wenger really.

For me Pulis not only had Klopp beaten tactically, he's now out done him in the media as well.

Fair play Tone, fair play...

Thumb up

Klopp is clearly a berk and I'm with TP all the way on this one.
The only gripe I would have is with TP's use of stats here. Yes we may have only played 3 more long balls than Liverpool, but that's because we barely had the ball all game. We only had 30% possession so it's not really comparing like with like.
