Just saying.......

well there's 3 of my predicted 7, albeit I had us to lose this one. Bonus!!

Now up to 5 of my predicted 7, sadly we can only get this 5 or 8 when we beat Liverpool next week!!!

Spuds coming into form wet sham  hit and miss. I go for 7 points, but not to sure in what format but a reasonable return, hoping the football matches the return.

Darn,  went for 7 points, we only managed 6, with both Bournemouth and Newcastle picking up back to back wins, we are only six above the drop, the next three looked easier but with Swasea sacking monk and the upturn in fortunes of the other two we could still be just above the line. Typical Albion, play well, ref adds just enough time for pool to equalize ........

Anyone want to start the guesses on points out of the next three ............?

6PTS out of my predicted 7. Also got me 70/1 predicting 1-1 halftime and 2-2 full time but would have preferred the win to be honest BUT the £71 winnings has cheered me a little.

NOTHING less than 3 points from Bournemouth, though. No good slapping ourselves on the back for getting the odd point or 2 from WHam or Liverpool - we would surely have pencilled in 3 from Bournemouth, and even if they're showing form at the moment we've got to get home wins on the board.

Agree totally with this, talkSAFT - really hope TP takes the game to Bournemouth........or is that playing into their hands, as I'm sure Chelsea & Man Utd would've done this in the last 2 games?

Feel a horrible similarity between this game and our home game v Leicester, to be honest  Sick

Just been looking at the table and doing some maths......... Will 40 points be enough this season?? Low to middle teams are taking points off the top teams all over. DD Huh Huh

Read an interesting article on this a bit ago. They did a bunch of statistical analysis of the points required for relegation, the results pretty much went like this:

33 points guarantees relegation
37 gives you a chance to survive
43 guarantees survival

West Ham I think hold the record since the prem went to 20 teams by going down with 42 points, hence why 43 "guarantees" survival, and in fact they are the only team to be relegated when getting to 41 points or more. Of course records are there to be broken and occasionally there will be that season that defies all the maths in the world but that 40 point mark is still valid.
