I would have taken a point before kick off so not too disappointed but we deserved 3.
Apart from criminal defending for their goal thought we played really really well.
McClean my man of the match with another 100% performance. I am really starting to admire the guy !
Rondon also gave everything for the shirt.
Standing ovation at full time and a thoroughly enjoyable game.

Spurs seem a bit overrated.

Unbeaten since opening day of the season and we were close, very close to ending that run....

Great intent from the team. I think Tony (I usually call him Pulis) is listening to the fans!!! Tongue

2 minutes from time Tony spoke to Chris Brunt as he was about to take a throw-in. So I expected the ball to find its way back to Boaz.... Wrong!....the ball was launched goalwards as if to say - for the 1st time this season - "we want 3 points from our home games".
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

Only negative for me was Gardner coming on for Sess. Not sure what MacManamen has got to do to get on the pitch ?
Still, not gonna moan cos it was a really good performance.
Thumb up

I suspect it was because we were already drawing 1-1, and McManaman isn't great at tracking back.  Not a knock at Pulis, because obviously we did attack in the second half and go for the win, but I think he wanted to make sure we could hold on to that point if need be.  If we'd still been losing when Sess got injured we'd have been more likely to see McManaman on in my opinion.

I think that's exactly the reason Ska'd.
For once I don't think Gardner was bad when he came on but it does show the lack of width in the squad.
McLean is putting the miles in both in attack and defence and I can't honestly think of a right sided wide man that we could get in to do that.
For me though Rondon needed some support and it doesn't look good for Mcmanamen or Berahino if Gardner gets the nod.
The more I think about it the more obvious it appears that we need to cash in on Berahino and get a couple of new faces in, preferably with a bit of pace.
