No, but clubs don't normally try to change the venue of their home games - covered by a season ticket the fans have already paid for - to another country half way through the current season either.
Surely you must understand that?
The more thought that goes into this, the more unlikely it is to happen. I think Dundee are either at it for publicity, or they've been incredibly naive.

Sarcasm Trus,if it does happen I'd imagine they'd recieve some sort of compensation like one game free or then maybe not, be interesting to hear what there fans are saying

Aye probably, but they can't do that halfway through a season. They'd have to make that offer before the tickets are bought.
As for Dundee fans and their opinions? Here's an eleven page thread all about it -

I'm sure the SPFL would have no problem giving it the go-ahead. The 'sporting integrity' of the fixture list went out the window when they introduced the 'opt-out' rule to justify allowing Celtic to ignore a fixture without forfeiting. That is, if it wasn't already compromised by the split leaving some teams playing 3 times at home or away to some opponents.

Totally agree with you, Dimitri.
A European League is not a new idea, I have mentioned on AVF before that Doug Ellis wrote about AVFC competing in a Euro League in the 'News & Record', way back in the 1970s.
Now we know that there is resentment in Scotland against Rangers and Celtic due to the disparity between us and the other teams, but that disparity is historic and is and always has been based on Fan support. So long as the Fans continue to support their Clubs in vast numbers, this disparity will continue because it is genuine and not reliant on TV money.
However, the cartel scheme mentioned in the article is just an attempt by teams that are currently at the top in England, Italy, Spain, Germany, etc., mainly due to financial doping, to retain their supremacy in perpetuity. They hope to insulate themselves from competition and cream off the bulk of the TV money too, by promoting their 'brands'.
I wonder how many 'customers' they will attract to watch these same brands 'competing' with each other, year in, year out ?
