'Huddersfield’s chief executive Nigel Clibbens and head of football operations Stuart Webber are thought to be behind the appointment and Wagner will watch Saturday’s Yorkshire derby against Leeds from the stands.'

WTF is this this all about? Who's running the club? Ann Hough and the Tea Lady will be taking the training sessions next. Between them they probably know more to be honest.

Sol Campbell's been a bit racist about all this. Says there's only five black managers in the league now, five and a half if you include Phil Brown.

Disgusting!  Angry

Agreed - nobody in their right mind should be employing Phil Brown as a manager.

Wenger could be available tomorrow, Jose by the weekend, Rogers looking for a job? Could be long queues for one or two of those though, not to mention they would all want to spend Brewster's millions in January.

Always thought Powell too conservative. Should have ignored reputations and played those in form. Didn't seem to know his best team. Never really sorted out the leaky defence.

The rivalry with Weeds has reached new heights now. Deano making a spirited effort to outsack Cellino!!!

When all is looking bad, at least we aren't leeds. Let's all feel a bit better about ourselves. We don't have the fat man in charge and we don't have cellino for a chairman.

Is it a surprise, yes and no, the football was as dull as ditchwater but it has for the last few years, since Robins was in charge. We just replaced Robins with another Robins in Powell. I'd totally lost interest myself but kept going to home games but only managed 3 away trips so far.

Who do we get though? If we get another Powell it'll just end up in inevitable relegation we need to get someone in who will excite the fans. One thing I will say and I don't know if anyone else thinks this there seems to be too much interference from boardroom level on footballing matters. There seems to be some consensus that he had the boot for not playing academy graduates. Hang on,who's in charge of the footballing side of things? Any manager worth his salt will not tolerate boardroom interference, seems to me Hoyle wants to force his own beliefs on the managers. Then there appears to be the lack of money available for new signings, the club have all this money from incoming fees, I hope they are going to spend some of it on a striker come January.
