Not sure what to make of QPR after the ir past few seasons.  The got wealthy orders, trampled all over FFP, got promoted, got relegated, got fined 49m and then trampled all over FFP again by refusing to pay the fine.  I expect they will settle at some point for less than 10m!!

They were certainly one of the favourites at the start of the season and even though they did not sell Austin and Phillips in the summer, they have had a distinctly mid-table start to the season, sitting one point behind us.  The do score a lot but also concede a lot, in fact they lead both categories in the Championship, so we are unlikely to keep a clean sheet, but we can definitely score as well.  With Austin out injured and him being their top scorer, lets hope they at least struggle to score!!

This will be the 64th meeting between the teams and our record stands at a good W28, D14, L21 over the previous 63 games.  We don't have a great record at Loftus Road, in fact it is 8 games since we won there back in 2000, seeing us lose 3 and draw 4 of the 7 games since that win.  


THE LAST MATCH

A solid if unspectacular performance but it was against one of the pre-season favorites for the title, so its probably a point gained.   We were able to match them for most of the game and good to see FF get his second goal.  Still frustrating to see us not able to finish teams off when we have the lead but at least we keep getting the lead!! Here is the video of that game:

So will we see CC make changes for the 2nd game of 7 in 22 days??  Or will he wait until Fridays game before he changes too much??  I can see Nuhiu coming back in and maybe McGugan will get a run out in place of either Lee or Bannan.  Certainly nice to have choices!!
