There was no need to make any unenforced changes to the starting 11 which won last week. In my opinion, you should never change a winning team unless you have good reasons to such as injuries, suspensions, fatigue.

With Olsson in ahead of Chester, Tony obviously trusts Olsson to do the job required whereas Chester has yet to play for us at centre back so whether he fits into Tony's defence methods is yet to be seen. Tony is basically playing it safe by putting in Olsson.

Hopefully the team can play like the did last week against Villa and get at least a point against a good Everton side.

Chester must feel he's thrown his career in the bin by moving. Really feel for him.

Given Chester is only just over 5ft 9in (1m77) its highly likely Pulis will never give him a game as central defender so we are unlikely to see him play in his natural position.

Why buy him just to languish on the bench is beyond me.

I think JP will have something to say if 8 million is sat on the bench and never used. Unless he's waiting till next season with McAuley and Olsson ageing, he could come in as first choice next year

Just seen on another site, Brown Ideye has scored five goals in three games since his move....

Why didn't we bin Sicknote instead?

I've money on Rondon to score first tonight - but just not seeing it at the moment. He's about, but not really making any impact.

Yes Berahino. Quality pass by Morrison for the goal.

It's good to see Berahino smiling and joking around. It seems like Tony and his coaching staff have been able to resolve the issues and he can now enjoy his football again.
