Outstanding! Finally, a Baggies cup performance to be proud of after years of misery!

Bournemouth away is a quality draw for us too. Come on Albion, let's make it happen this year!

Without wanting to disrespect or underestimate Bournemouth, IF we can get past them then the quarter-final draw could prove favourable too. There's going to be at least one Championship team and one League One team in the hat, as well as one or two middling Prem clubs. When luck's on your side, you never know...

I really hope this will be a boost going into the Burnley match too. Irvine's dished up two victories in four days; if we can make it a hat-trick in a week, it'll bury a lot of doubts and concerns.

Just got back from the game pleased overall and thought Gamboa and Blanco both looked decent still not sure about Davidson though i hope Pocognoli doesn't pick up a bad injury also its a shame for Ideye having to go off after netting his first goal for us. To be fair for most of the game there seemed to be a lack of a killer touch or quality in the final third and the game seemed to be just drifting by until Hull went 2-1 up then we went went for it and really looked decent i thought Gamboa was given more freedom to attack down the right and thrived and Blanco seemed to be involved in everything as well.

Decent entertaining match and a sublime pass by Varela to Saido for the winner. We need to find a way to unlock Burnley's defence on Sunday and Irvine has some interesting selections to make. Personally, I'd bring in Blanco for Dorrans and Mulumbu for either Gardner or Morrison and make sure Varela was at least on the bench. Feeling slightly more positive than a week ago.

Next round won't be easy. Bournemouth will be well up for it and won 't make as many changes as they did last night although a very poor Cardiff team rolled over! Any STH prepared to bag me a ticket I would be eternally grateful and happy to buy a few beers beforehand !!!
