He's clearly left-footed. The fact he needs to shift it to his left foot at all suggests to me that the ball to him isn't good enough. If it's his positioning that dictates the ball can only be played to his right foot, then again the defender's decision to use him is flawed.
Fair enough, these days I'd expect any decent footballer to be able to kick the ball competently with either foot. I'm sure work is being done to rectify that to some extent.
To make the system work there has to be more options from midfield, no matter who has the ball. It's a work-in-progress, and it'll come good in time.
