Coop, paignton (and others) type like I and millions of others speak. If you can't understand the Scots language, then you're less clever than I thought.

You, on the other hand, are sounding more and more like a Tory toff, thankfully an endangered species in Scotland.

You should be broadening your horizons then, Coop. I've broadened mine (and my accent and my belly!)
Many of my acquaintances speak Scottish as it's meant to be spoken, but can quite easily speak proper English if they want. It's called freedom of choice. Nothing wrong with that, no matter where you come from.

There's a difference between scots and gaelic Fred. But it disnae matter what the discussion is, what board it's on, or whether it's you, me, maroon or 0-7. Coop adds nothing but bitchy little one liners. Disnae try tae argue his case, justslags everybody off. he is now on ignore

The term you are looking for is colloquial, and as for slagging off and bitchy one liners. I'm not throwing the term Hun around. I speak English with a Scottish accent, you speak slang, which is all fine and dandy, but i find it odd to see it in the written form. Take that mountainous size chip off your shoulder, and realise it's banter. Peace, love and all that shit.
