Nowt wrong with Lidl Blue.
After this afternoons 2nd half performance he should try Harrods. Wow, what a turnaround. First half we looked like we were going to get hammered. It looked like our first team squad and it didn't bode well. Orrell buzzed around a bit and scored against the run of play, we were very lucky to go in 1-2 down. Second half saw the removal of Banks, Gardner, Ewbanks Blake and Orrell and my god how the game changed. Armand was superb. The interplay between him, Many, Gboly and Harrison was a joy to watch. Onuvwigun looked immense and between them they made a good Burnley side look very ordinary. I know it was only a friendly but I was well impressed and yes Dev Tendayi played well - very well. Mr Saunders has given himself a big headache selection wise. Smiles all round as I came out of the ground.

The goal from Armand was a classic and should shut a few up for a few days.
Its good that Saunders has some money to spend and it will need a good one to get a regular place in the team . The squad is looking decent and with a few quality signings we will be ok .

Delighted by these reports. Because I mostly see only excerpts Gnanduillet has always impressed me. He's big and that bit different ....... and I probably get the bits some fans dislike edited out .....
Of course we have to sell Sam Clucas. We can't afford not to. I only hope it helps us afford to keep Morsy and maybe even Tendayi. Wouldn't it be excellent if the answer in midfield was Onovwigun, who we took on when he was unwanted? Ariyibi could create a lot of problems for defences at our level. Let's hope Mani continues to improve and prove to the Wols that they sent the answer to their problems over goalscoring down the Chesterfield Road. With these three combining so well with Gnanduillet the commentator must have been delighted when the ball reached Harrison. Good that he's settling down too. And Orrell getting chances to develop? All these things are positives. Eventually the only way to progress to playing at higher levels is actually to play at those levels. Youth and even reserve team football can only prepare you - eventually you just have to make the jump. Let's hope yesterday was the day Onovwigun proved to the club and himself that he could do that ..... and that the others can follow him through and provide Dancing's selection headache for Mr Saunders. Do they do Paracetamol in M&S? |
