Maybe because the Vile deal fell through, the potential purchaser is looking across Brum again. Though I don't know why they would after they were blown out in the first place.

The only positive at least Peace hasn't just ditched us and left us with someone who may screw us over in whatever terms.
Now that's all cleared up, we need to focus on our structure / finances / signings ASAP

Yes. Blessing in disguise and another example to my wife that you don't spend money you have not yet got!
If we'd splashed the cash on big names on the basis of money coming in. We'd be s big buffered now.
At least now we can continue to build and follow the guidance of TP. Myhill (Extension), Diaby, Ramos, Lambert. All very possible with more to follow I am sure.

Positives and negatives to this.
Firstly, we aren't in the hands of someone who potentially doesn't have the clubs best interests at heart. We also know we are safe financially under JP and we can now go ahead with a 'business-as-usual' approach and hopefully sign the players we are lacking.
On the flip side, we all know JP wants out and a takeover inevitably needs to happen at some point (is is heart still 100% in it?). We will also remain as a club with one of the weakest transfer budgets in the league for the forseeable which means we will have to continue punching above our financial weight and it will be frustrating to see us continue scraping the barrel in comparison to other clubs our size.
We will always be wondering what might have been, did JP save us from a potential 'Vincent Tan mark II'? Or was it simply they didn't offer him enough money? We will probably never know.
