After now knowing Hull are going down, I'd like to see us go for 2 of their players. Robbie Brady on the left, very quick and tricky left footed winger who also has one of the best deliveries in the league. In addition, I think their left back Andrew Robertson would be another good buy. Very attacking left back who also can whip in a mean cross. Not sure he would be Pulis style as he is too attacking for the old defensive mind on Tony, but Brady would be a good option.

While we are busy  'cherry picking' players from relegated sides, I have to say that I have always been an admirer of  Huddlestone.

Could he be a replacement for Mulumbu or has Tony got someone else in mind?

Apart from Charlie Austin I don't think there are any other QPR players that come to mind.

On a different note:- can you honestly see our 'esteemed European Champion neighbours' swapping Benteke for Ricky Lambert as reported today?

I can see us going for Nedum Onouha, good defender at QPR, he plays centre-back and right back so would be a full-back for us.

Realistically all those QPR players would cost a decent amount, Pulis wanted Caulker at Palace so we may go for him and we've been linked with Philips, I'd be happy with him. Austin will probably aim higher than us. Onouha and Philips are probably the most likely signings from QPR.

Trippier and Ings will probably aim higher but Heaton could be a good signing.

I really like Huddlestone as a player and if we're willing to pay 4/5m for someone who'll probably be a bench player, I'd go for him. I'd like Robertson too but he's very attacking for Tony.

DD, there is talent at relegated teams who would improve our starting 11, so we shouldn't rule them out imo, of course there are some players who manage to get relegate with a different club every other season but hopefully we won't sign any of them.

Since the Play off final is on now, I'd take Friend and Adomah from Boro if they lose and Bamford/Kalas may come on loan from Chelsea. Olsson from Norwich would be worth considering again.

I think Mulumbu could well end up at Newcastle.

I'll put the list of released players up soon as we will make a couple of signings from there.

How about Hull's forgotten man Robert Snodgrass missed all of this season but if the price was right and he is fully fit then he'd be a decent signing
