Is this a piñata shaped like a sandwich or a more traditional donkey shape but sandwiches fall out of it?

The latter. Bread + filling kept together with a cocktail stick and wrapped in clingfilm goes in. Sauces, accompaniments and relish is around the table. Catch your sandwich, fill it how you want. Simple.

Ooh, can't see any problem with cocktail-stick-impaled-sandwiches dropping from above into people's eyes, no risk there whatsoever. She's being completely unreasonable.

Had to chuckle. Mrs JASOG just phoned to tell me she had called in at the V&A Museum. There is an area dedicated to fashion through the ages. She saw the very same t-shirt she used to wear as a teenager. So it's official. We really do belong in a museum now!
