We did notably play on the ground much more than usual, maybe it was because Berahino was alone up front and we knew he wouldn't win any headers from long balls, I think it helped to have Morrison in the middle and I would be ok with that midfield starting next season (with decent options from the bench). I think it helped that it was more of a laid back game and they could worry a bit less about being solid.

Crap season, only slightly less calamitous than the one before it. Players and staff still often getting headlines for the wrong reasons. No long term plan behind the scenes. It seems the new long term plan is just to trust TP with everything, which given his buying record at Stoke does not fill me with the same level of confidence many on here have. I admit TP deserves credit for getting us over the line, but our squad is not half as bad as some people make out so he is hardly a miracle worker.
Highlights for me were the 3-0 over Chelsea (which I unfortunately missed because it got moved to a Monday) and the 4-0 over West Ham in the cup.
Low points were both the QPR games, the failure of most of the new signings, and worst of all losing to Villa twice in a week which to be honest I am still angry about
