He more or less confirmed it. It will be interesting to see who the next manager will be now. Instead of getting in someone quickly and cheap I think they need to think it over.

So he went a few minutes ago. Goodbye to Richardson too. They did a great job, but I still think he should've played three centre backs against Preston. Arf arf.
Don't think he'll succeed at Portsmouth ..... to the extent he did for us. Oh God let's hope we appoint someone imaginative, and don't sell off the team before they arrive.

Redfearn set to quit Leeds to take your job according to Yorkshire Evening Post. That's the Leeds United paper and quite on the ball usually.

Jesus Snoots, that actually sounds possible. Redfearn ........ blimey we're in trouble. I was sure Turner would simply appoint Humphreys.

3 relegations out of 4 clubs he has managed doesn't exactly inspire most of the fans with confidence. Not happy with the appointment if it is Saunders but we just have to wait and see what happens. I wanted Leam Richardson and Ritchie Humphreys to be manager and assistant because Leam could carry on the good work which Paul Cook has done but instead he has decided to follow him to Portsmouth. It seems to me that Paul Cook's team of Richardson, Lynch and Nixon work well together and they've decided to follow him to Portsmouth to try and get them promoted out of L2 like they did with us.
It wouldn't surprise me if Jimmy Ryan follows him to Portsmouth or Armand and wouldn't surprise me if Portsmouth made a bid for a few of our players like O'Shea or Roberts. The problem is though its only going to be a matter of time till it all goes tits up for them again because Portsmouth haven't learned from the last time. BBC Solent Sport @solentsport · 6h 6 hours ago POMPEY EXCLUSIVE: Chief exec Mark Catlin: "Paul Cook has already decided which players he'll be keeping, He'll be letting them know asap." This tweet means he already knew who he wanted at Portsmouth and who he didn't.
