Safe or not yet, there is no way we would be on 40pts and 10 clean sheets with AFI still in the hot seat, since he left. I actually enjoyed watching that masterclass in defending as a team, maybe not every week but today for sure. MOTM Yacob or Bo - can't split them.

The BBC scores an own goal again:-
Any concerns the Baggies had about being dragged towards the relegation zone were eased by Jonas Olsson's fortuitous goal against United. The Swede unintentionally deflected Chris Burke's free-kick past David De Gea, ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have we signed a new player then? ![]()

Some of the defending was brilliant from all of the back 4. McAuley was the
stand out performer for me and credit to Myhill for the penalty save and the save from Van Persie afterwards. I do wish our midfield would pass the ball better, they were all guilty of failing to execute simple passes, not playing the ball early and over complicating things which put us under a lot of pressure. But credit to them for their work rate off the ball. Wasn't pretty, but a huge result given the other results earlier in the day. It just goes to show that if you stick in a game, anything can happen.

This isn't the time for "I told you so", enjoy the win lads Believe me, '96, nobody is enjoying the win more than me. I always want us to win. However, it is my opinion that some would rather we had no success if TP is involved.

Ive told you all so continuously since pulls was appointed he was a good choice I also said we'd beat teams we didn't expect to furthermore I don't care how we win right now coz win we must and we are as good as chelsea for grinding out results atm so stop please stop worrying and enjoy a great night where we joined an elite list of only 3 teams to beat manure at the TOD. An essential unexpected win today and a masterclass defending lesson

No way should Foster walk back into that team. Myhill has proved he is a superb number 1 and should stay there unless he has a herrendous run of games

obviously as a Man Utd fan i`m gutted again having lots of possession but losing
Well done, tactics paid off as negative had they might have been the three points/win column will what will be remembered Maybe a loan next season of Wilson, Perreira or Januzaj to WBA might be good for both clubs? |
