We did have several good chances - May's disallowed goal, Maguire's shot blocked on the line & follow up, Mattock's header that bounced over the bar, Lees header cleared off line, Nuhui through but took too long, Drenthe's miss.

That is what May does.

Well to be fair MS I've only ever seen May once and that was v Forest, yeah he was lively but in that game he didn't get enough chances and didn't get to use his pace so all I can say is I'll take your word for it Thumb up
We are MASSIVE again!!!
May's goal that should've been is the only one I can think of.

In fact, I'm counting the noblot game as a win

I'm going tonight Southey.

Coke can't pick a pass so May doesn't get the chance to use his pace and movement beyond the opposition back four.

We don't have the midfielders fir who can play a ball through. Semedo's game is to break things up and Coke doesn't have the ability to do the through balls (not a dig at Coke, his long and short passes are fine). We need another midfielder who can put the ball through (like Lee and Hutch do) who can play the majority of the games or be available to slot in when Lee and Hutch are out

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
Car cost me £500 this month, so I wont be going away for a while!

Enjoy, Consilio and Madsteve!

apart from City, in their end!

JUST SAYING LIKE!
Would anyone take a punt on Grant Holt if he were to be made available by Wigan?? Wigan have brought in Oriol Riera and Andy Delort to lead the line now and with Marc Antoine Fortune also in his path to the first-team, he seems certain to move on soon, particularly after failing to impress in a brief cameo in his side's 2-1 defeat to Burton Albion in the Capital One Cup.

Could he be the striker we are looking for and could we afford him??

Personally I think he is well past his sell by date now and it would be as frustrating as when we first had him.
No.
Doh
I can honestly say I have never seen him play!! Have no opinion of him at all except that he could be available.
