Surely we shall have to wait and see what next season brings in terms of players available, form and what TP decides - if TP is still with us, that is.  I love him (in a strictly heterosexual way, you understand) but he's not everyone's cup of tea, either!

Baggybomber,
Indeed. A great clubman. If TP thinks he is the LB until the end of the season then so be it. Like many I would prefer Poco but TP has forgotten more about footie than I will ever know !
For a couple of seasons now Brunty has been picked just for his set pieces and killer passing so it it baffling that this has seemingly deserted him.
Still at least it's not Ridgwell !!!!
Very interesting summer ahead as far as recruiting with Burton and staff in the spotlight so fingers crossed.

I had also written Mozza off but he was fantastic yesterday and my man of the match. Him and Fletcher really combine well.

Yes.  A good team display, yesterday.  All performed well and I would be hard-pushed to pick the m.o.m.  Sess, who is usually a bit of a blind spot to me, must have come pretty close.

Oh, Ridgy! Now there was a mon.  Never ceased to be amazed by how many free kicks he could con.  So slow hitting the ground.  He defied gravity.  What a loff!

Top shift put in by most. Mozza was my man of the match but Sess was very good, Fletcher looks quality, G-Mac and Lescott solid and Dawson was another who I normally berate played very well.
To be pretty much safe with 9 games to go is quite remarkable. It is a pleasure going to games at home again (away games are a bit less enjoyable !) and for anybody who didn't watch the game it was never a boring 1-0 we could have won by 2 or 3. Isn't it strange that refs can't wait to give a penalty against us but won't give a stone wall one for us!
Charlie Adam could and should have been booked 4 times as should Shawcross so Clayheads should have been down to 9 men, again refs can't wait to red card our players !
Great game, good performance & I'm a happy bunny.
️Boing boing.

"Charlie Adam could and should have been booked 4 times "
....you sure Squirrel? Only 4?
Adam is such a dirty, cheating con artist, can't understand how he EVER finishes a game. Shame as I quite rate him as a player

It's a disgrace that he remained on the pitch. I counted 4 times he should have been booked and that fool Oliver didn't book him at all.
He was complaining and moaning at every decision and he is known to leave his foot in.
Shame because he is a good player.

Perhaps we'll get him in the summer. Then watch him being booked and sent off!

Over 6ft so fits the bill for TP

Chris Brunt
There seems to be two camps as far as Brunt is concerned. One that think he's still the greatest thing since sliced bread and the other who think he's over the hill and his contribution falls short of that required. Watching him for a full 90mins of late, I fall into the latter camp. Yes, he's been a good servant, yes, his corners and crosses WERE very good and yes, his through balls WERE at one time exquisite. Sadly, his consistency over the last couple of seasons has gone and it's time to move him on good servant or not.

James Morrison
His dazzling run beating three Sjokies wasn't even shown of the Sky Sports extended 'Match Choice' let alone MoD. Mozza was stunning yesterday and probably the best I've seen him play in years.

Tony Pulis
It's a well known fact that his buying record at Sjoke was generally poor with huge amounts paid for players who didn't cut it. That said, our own buying record of late hasn't been anything to shout about. I'm still not convinced about MacManaman who has done nothing to justify his signing as yet and he was a TP signing.

Billy Jones
We didn't move Billy Jones on - he wanted a payday move after his contract ran out. I don't remember people knocking him when he was our regular right back when we finished 8th. Short memories.

Although it doesn't say anywhere, I believe the above comments are mainly your opinions.  Most of us have opinions and those opinions don't necessarily make anything true in fact.
