Well Maddix is busy with his own Big Man duties at home, so I am standing in on his behalf.  Thought I would get this up on here straight away to give us all time to comment on it!!


THE LAST MATCH

Well I suppose that last game showed us that maybe our expectations and demands from the team have changed slightly!!  We put in a good performance that had everything but the winning goal, so we only came away from a bit of a dodgy ground for us with only a point - and we were not happy!!!!  For me thats a good sign, a sign that we do have a better team than we have seen recently, but it also shows we are still missing a piece or two to complete the puzzle.

one thing that came through on the radio and live feed we had was that once again our fantastic supporters proved they are firmly No1 in the business!!!


THE MATCH

Another away game, this time sees us visiting England's second biggest city for a midweek game. I don't think we have a great record at St Andrews over the years, certainly last season was not a great trip was it??  If memory serves me correctly we went there on decent form and got hammered by a player on loan from Man Utd, Lingard??

Again, as seems to be our situation at the moment, we are up against a team on not great form and one that I would hope we can certainly beat this time around. Our fans I am sure will travel in numbers even for a night game and I am sure we will only hear them on the radio instead of the insipid Brum fans!!  So I want to see us put in a performance and come back with all three points please!!!!

ON TO THE TEAM

First lets talk about what we do know, Loovens will walk back into the team at the expense of Zayette, who despite Imre's concerns performed well on Saturday, and Lee and Hutchinson will both still be sidelined for this one!!     So I expect the rest of the back 5 to be the same with the addition of Loovens and I expect both Semedo and Coke will play again in center midfield.  Maghoma, May and Nuhiu will all play I think, so thee only real question may be whether Drenthe gets a start or is the bench again. I thought Drenthe did ok, he was keep and eager as he should be and this probably led to some wrong decisions from him, but he showed he can beat a man and he  showed he has pace.   He needs to track back better as this is a big part of our game plan and when he gets a shooting chance he needs to welly it, not try the cultured curl into the top corner!!
