2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window
SG is a good coach but has shortcomings on the managerial side of things (tactics, formations, motivation).
We arent a big club in the grand scheme of things, but we are one of the biggest in the league we are currently in along with Derby, Forest and L**ds.

A decent league position this season will help show our intentions and make it easier for us to attract better players. They would prefer to come to a club finishing top half rather than bottom half. The players we have should be playing for their jobs. Some have not shown anything like consistency, enough goals etc. Some will and should be shown the door or moved on. It's clear that our squad needs and will be strengthened this summer I just hope we pick up a higher calibre of player. The last few games and our final league position could play an important part. SG neesds to get the team motivated and organised and get points on the board otherwise it may not just be players who are shown the exit this summer...

We are apparently going to launch a £12m bid for Jordan Rhodes in the summer, according to The Daily Star. Amazing what stories appear when a takeover happens and we have a bit of money to spend, if your going to run a story at least make it realistic.

Ridiculous, as if we're going to drop 12 million on anybody, let alone Rhodes.

It's ridiculous alright, also seen on the bbc that Blackburn may loan him to Derby if they lose today.

We could probably get Wickham for 8-9 million if we were going to spend big.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, you need a team....

Vardy at Leicester may be worth a look. Don't know how profilic he is thou. Also the service to the strikers will have to increase 100% which will require a few quid.

The only former OWLS that I would sign would be Brunt, BM10, Antonio, Wickham & Barkley.

I suspect that we won't be signing any them though.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

I think we would have a outside chance at BM10, but he appears to be playing regularly for Blackburn.

If I buy now I'm actually saving a fiver on this seasons ST because I missed the deadline last year (on purpose because I wasn't spending 200 for league 1)
Removed until we're actually on our way back  Doh
