I thought today's performance was the best away performance for some time, especially when you consider how squad bare we are.

Don't get me wrong, we were not particularly easy on the eye, but we never are.

But if we are going to be poor to watch, which we have been all season, we need to be more effective than we have been...

I think we managed that today. We did a good job stifling them and we actually carried a threat on the counter.

On the balance of chances, we probably deserved a bit more. The goal we conceded was poor, but Sheffield didn't pose a massive threat otherwise.

Fair play to Mozza for picking something more industrial. With 2 up top, it actually gave the opposition something to think about.

As well as that, I thought Diakite had the best game I've seen him have. Price was the best I've seen him for months and looks a lot more suited to that position than when he plays in the 10. He's clearly not a good enough footballer to pick up the ball and turn in the hole, but he was decent today.

Had we played like that against some of the lesser opposition, we probably wouldn't be in this mess.

I still don't think we'll get out of it. The quality just isn't there with the injuries. But it was absolutely an improvement.

I think we should play Campbell up top as he clearly knows where the net is. I mean, he doesn’t care which net as long as it’s a net Smile

I seem to recall Chris Nicholl scoring all 4 in a 2-2 draw for the Vile must have been mid 70's.
