On the eve of Trump's unwelcome state visit to the UK, I never thought I'd refer to some form of moderation on this SM board re a previous removed post (regarding Trump's highly questionable response after the death of a certain RW US activist, Charlie Kirk, and highlighted in a vg Guardian article re a great lack of class/reassurance to a resident US population rather than vindictive vitriol against certain political targets!!). But there you go and it must be a first for some reason or other on an SM board that is "very quiet" at the best of times?!!! The word "sinister" comes to mind!! Thankfully, I'm sure there were enough readers who digested the contents of said post in the many, many days that it was there to be read without any interference.
There is a classic poster displayed at many locations (bus stops, railways stations etc) to give a flavour of welcome to the orange-faced misrepresentative of proper democratic politics. It reads (with a Trump mugshot on it), "The enemy doesn't arrive by boat!! He arrives in a private jet"!!

0762, this site took a dump over the weekend at some point and the back up reverted it back to last Friday, so if something was posted between those events then it was lost. It seems this has also hapened again yesterday, so nothing sinister, just tech issues.

This post is so accurate re the trajectory of this mental POTUS and the mobsters who surround him posing as a legitimate US Govt. The predictions by a good number of well-informed subscribers on this vg historical OP, particularly re future events, have been spot on. An unlawful attack(s) on Venezuela and killing/murdering lotsa people in the process, a confirmed revelation of a US Govt foreign policy reversal of the principles of the Monroe Doctrine in dominating the Western Hemisphere. Threatening various countries that Trump and his criminal gang do not like or want their valuable natural resources - angsty, aggressive, irrational behaviour that never stops and highlighted by many well-informed SB posters for a very long time.
And as for the British Govt reaction? Previous comments re Starmer on this board spot on AGAIN!!
Starmer just hasn't got a clue how to respond. A long history of either U-turns, or sitting on the fence, or chasing the public mood of the day, desperately seeking approval. The man is a confirmed "wooden top" and his popularity downturn is not gonna change anytime soon. He is "toast" in my humble opinion, and deservedly so!!
Back to Trump - our worst fears are materialising and the US Govt mantra is very obvious - MIGHT IS RIGHT!! No it's not!! This is 3rd Reich, pre-second World War II stuff although the scenario is not quite the same. No recognition of the "rule of law" or international law. "Crossing red lines" with utter impunity and violating the principles of law enforcement/crimes within their own country, the USA. Looks like frightening times ahead in 2026 unless the American Congressional/legal system can somehow take control of this mental POTUS and the fanatical "nut jobs" around him. Can he be impeached? Do they have the courage and moral principles to do it? Lastly, what a convenient distraction from the Epstein Files of which Trump is definitely a "bigger player" in spite of his propagandists/spin doctors around him insisting otherwise.

This is another vg article on the precarious state of this current POTUS and comparing Trump's situation with Nixon's position preceding his eventual demise - the only US President to be rightly toppled with dire consequences for various cover-up associates who tried to endorse their criminality. Just look back in this OP at some of the vg comments on the huge concerns surrounding the emergence of this demented orange-faced nut-case and his criminal gang. And we are seeing it all unfold as previously predicted on this OP, one of the most extensively well-detailed/informed OPs to evolve since the the very beginning of Trump's 1st tenure in the Oval Office. My simple question is, "Who's next??? Cuba?? A country he has bragged about starving the population"!!! Unbelievable and coming from a POTUS who professed to his US audience/voters, "he was not getting involved in foreign wars"??????? Jeeezzzzzz!!! Madness personified and definitely dangerous to the world that you and I inhabit!! And as previously predicted on this OP with great concern.
Also worth mentioning Labour's John Healey demonstrating what it means to have had donations from Friends of Israel as he tried to tell the UK the unprovoked attack on Iran by the USA and Israel was not a terrorist attack of massive illegality under international law, designed to undermine peace negotiations in the region which included the murder of the current leader of Iran but somehow, possibly, could be justified given Iran's record in the region. This would be funny, if it was not so outrageous, given the USA and Israel's record in the region over the last decades in Libya, Lebanon, West Bank, Syria or Iraq not to mention the USA's dumping of the Kurds or their Afghanistan allies when their usefulness was no longer important. IT TRULY IS A CRAZY WORLD WE ARE LIVING IN AT THE MOMENT!! And very sad to see more n more (1000s n 1000s) innocent lives being lost to this kind of criminal mentality preaching that "Might is right". Oh no it's not!! Not in this context!!!
