We've had managers who have won promotion from this league.
We've had club legends in charge.
We've even tried giving a manager an extra season to prove himself (Carlos).
What we haven't tried is giving the fans a list of names and letting them decide who they want in as manager. Let's face it. Kevin Nagle and his cronies have absolutely no idea.

Abysmal, nah, sh!t, nah. Not close to that good. When your own fans are singing songs for most of the 2nd half about how poor you are, you really need to take a bit of notice and hand yours in.
